When to use GitHub ClawHub Release Reviewer
Choose if
You want an agent to gate a release with a structured pre-publish audit — validating metadata, screening for credential leaks or private data in release notes, organizing publish order across GitHub and ClawHub, and producing a checklist a human can execute. Useful as a guardrail before any release-engineering tool that actually pushes.
Avoid if
You want the agent to actually run the release (tag, push, publish). This skill explicitly refuses execution and only produces review artifacts. Pair with a separate release-execution tool, or skip if your release process has no human-in-the-loop step.
Risk Flags
- LOW scope Strictly a review tool — README states it does NOT create repositories, stage files, push branches, create releases, or publish ClawHub packages. A human must run the actual publish commands afterward.
